Welcome to KidKarma! This app is designed to help families create a positive and rewarding environment for completing chores and tasks. These Terms of Use govern your access and use of the KidKarma mobile application.
Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you (either as a parent or legal guardian or a child with your Parent’s permission ) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the Terms, you may not use the App.
User Accounts
The App offers two types of user accounts:
- Parent Account: Parents can create accounts to assign tasks, manage rewards, and track their Child’s progress.
- Child Account: Children can use accounts created by their Parents to view assigned tasks, claim points for completed tasks, and redeem rewards.
Parents are responsible for ensuring their Child understands and complies with these Terms.
Content and Conduct
- Content: You are responsible for all content you submit or upload to the App, including task descriptions and any communication with your Child.
- Conduct: You agree to use the App in a respectful and appropriate manner. This includes avoiding any content or behavior that is:
- Abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or hateful.
- Violates any intellectual property rights.
- Involves impersonating another person.
- Promotes illegal activity.
Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied. KidKarma disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
KidKarma shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Termination
KidKarma may terminate your access to the App for any reason, at any time, without notice. You may also terminate your use of the App at any time.
Changes to Terms of Use
KidKarma may revise these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will be effective immediately upon posting on the App. You are encouraged to review the Terms periodically for any updates or changes.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Alberta, Canada.
